Purchased coins via Gainesville coins on-line website after calling to confirm details of order. We utilized a bank wire in the amount of $7,794.42 on 5/31/2013 and received confirmation of their receiving the funds. They have not contacted us since, nor have they sent any merchandise. Their website indicates that orders will be filled within 7 business days. Calls to their office on 6/10 and 6/11 yielded no results.”

Complaint on Yelp 6/18/2013: “Terrible customer service!!! Placed an order 3 months ago that never showed up. I was told they would have to investigate the matter and it would take about a month. Here I am 3 months later and can’t get any kind of answer from them about what they are going to do about my order. I’ve been told I would get an email about the investigation, that never happened… I’ve been told I’d get a phone call from them to fix the problem, that never happend…I’m very close to calling my bank and let them go after Gainsville for my money back! I would say this is a major flaw in customer service and definately don’t use the USPS to ship anything!!! They are the cause of this entire problem!!!!”

They said there would be a 5% cancellation charge and despite being a prior customer they just cited the cancellation policy and then we’re rude enough to hang up on me. There are many companies out there that provide excellent customer service, Gainesville is not one of them.
